Welcome to The Bushbabies Playgroup, where we offer early education for children aged 15 months to six years in Masaki, Dar es Salaam.
Our approach
Our curriculum is grounded in the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and enhanced by additional internationally respected early childhood frameworks. Together, they provide a holistic learning experience that nurtures the whole child intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.

Our core vision is singular and heartfelt: we want to see happy children engaging in a rich variety of activities, independently and with enthusiasm, in a safe, nurturing environment. Every activity we plan, every resource we choose, and every space we create is in service of that vision.
Play-based learning
What makes Bushbabies truly special is how we bring these approaches to life: through play, through relationships, a world-class curriculum, and an unwavering commitment to seeing and supporting each child as the unique individual they are. In a small, homely setting with carefully maintained adult-to-child ratios, every child at Bushbabies is listened to, known, and supported.
